Junior Infants

 Book Lists for Junior Infants 2019/20

Dear Parent / Guardian,

The cost of the booklist for Junior Infants is €70. The school will order, purchase and distribute all the necessary school items for your child.

You can pay in full or 'part pay' before the start of the new school year in June or at the start of the new school year.  

All money should be paid to the class teacher or at the Office in a sealed envelope with your child’s name and class clearly marked on the front.

The payment of €70 covers all school items that your child will require for this school year:

textbooks/workbooks/readers

book rental

copies/folders

pencils/crayons

photocopying

art materials

S.A.E. for end of year report

Please ensure that your child’s name is on all his/her items and clothing. A large t-shirt is required for painting and all art activities.

School reopens for all pupils on Thursday, August 29th at 9.00 a.m. (Gates open at 8.40 a.m.).

Junior Infants will go home at 12.30 p.m. up to and including Friday, September 6th. From Monday September 9th Junior Infants will finish school at 1.40 p.m.

In early September details of the Pupils’ School Insurance Scheme will be sent home. Cost is €9.

Also the Voluntary Contribution will be payable to the Parents’ Association. The cost is €20 per child or a maximum of €40 per family. The Parents’ Association will issue reminders in September and throughout the school year.

Pupils must wear their school uniform or school tracksuit every day. Coloured T- shirts or football jerseys are not allowed.
