CONCERT ~ Thanks

Sincere thanks to every single one of the 648 people who packed the 'Parish Hall' last Friday night for what was a magnificent way to celebrate to school's 'change of status' next September.

Particular thanks to

  • all who voluntarily gave of their time and effort to contribute in any way to the success of the night
  • our friends in the South End Family Resource Centre who continually show younger generations the value and meaning of 'community'
  • M.C. (and past pupil) Alan McGuire for his time and professionalism over several nights and for insuring the actual concert 'flowed'
  • the parents / guardians of the 'two' choirs who facilitated the 'crazy' rehearsal / performance  schedule over the past few weeks
  • all who took the time to 'dress up' either in school or on the night
  • Theresa O'Leary for her extraordinary film
  • Shirley and Mag for being 'Shirley and Mag' ....all connected with the school know what I mean
  •  the students from Wexford Campus CIT for the set and 'the back-drop' that was the talk of the night
  •  the Grey family, Murt Flynn and Ms. Meagan O'Connor for doing so much, that if it was to be written down, it would see a small forest felled to make the paper
  • David Tucker (Wexford People) and Saoirse McGarrigle and Mikey Carty (both Wexford Echo) for their lovely articles prior to the Concert that helped promote the event
  • Phyllis McCarthy and her 'front-of-house' team
  • Dolores at the School Office for all her unseen, but very much appreciated, work
  •  anyone I have left out for not taking offence, because it wasn't meant.

A full gallery of photos will be posted when normal energy levels have been restored.
