On Friday 28th June 2019 thirteen children were rewarded for not having missed a single day throughout the entire school year 2018/19.

Attendance in school is so important and that anyone can go through an entire school year without an absence is a notable achievement.

As well as receiving their Certificate of Attendance and their special Faythe School Attendance Award pen this year the thirteen were also given a copy of 'In Quest of Adventure - 25 things to do before you're 12!'

This is the book, written by our very own Mr. Gregg and his wife, designed to get children off their screens and out and about - a great prize for the summer months!

Sincere thanks to all the children and staff who wore their 'Stripes' and contributed a euro to 'Stripe Day' in aid of Ronald McDonald House.

By close of school this coming Monday (8th October), we should be able to send €400 to this wonderful charity which provides accommodation and a caring, supportive environment for families whose children are seriously ill and are hospitalised or undergoing medical treatment at Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin.

Maths Week - 2014

October 13th - 18th was Maths Week in Irish schools and is an all-Ireland celebration of Maths to promote the importance of Maths in fun ways.

The Faythe School was a hive of Mathematical activity. From card game to Maths trails a whole array of work was produced. Lots of data was collected and then displayed outside the Office.

Room 1 constructed an abacus that will be used in their own classrooms while the 'Estimate the Number of Sweets' in the jar proved as popular as ever.

Enjoy the montage of photos with the One D parody song about 'Maths.'
